Additional Programs : Catalyst
CatalystTM is a one-day program designed to allow participants the time and space to consider powerful questions that move them towards action. Compelling questions like:
- Am I on the right path?
- Who do I want to be?
- How can I connect with other like-minded individuals?
The day isn't intended to provide participants with easy answers to these questions but rather create a community in which participants can engage in meaningful conversations with each other. Catalyst is designed primarily for individuals who are committed to the exploration of possibility, personal integrity, and increasing their capacity to lead. They might currently be members of standing organizations or groups, or be exploring involvement and action in the greater community.

A Commitment to Partnership
We've said it before and we'll say it again. We're intentional about approaching our relationship with you as a partnership, whether we're working together to plan a program that lasts for six days or for one. When we partner with campuses and organizations, we believe working successfully together moves us all one step closer to our vision — a just, caring, thriving world where everyone leads with integrity and a healthy disregard for the impossible.
The all-inclusive fee for a campus-based session of CatalystTM is $4,950 for up to 60 participants, which includes facilitator travel expenses.
What We Provide
The fee includes facilitator travel costs, one workbook and one personal assessment instrument per participant (for up to 60 participants), and materials for all activities.
In addition to providing appropriate space and AV, we rely on you for markers, a flipchart and easel, and participant nametags. (We're happy to share space and supply details. Contact us: 800.988.LEAD (5323) or email@example.com.)

Additional Programs : Catalyst : Impact
"Catalyst accomplishes more in one day, than some leadership programs can do in a year! It makes leadership accessible for all students, regardless of their leadership 'role' on campus. It is a great way to unite your student population and engage them in intentional activities and conversations about bettering themselves and their university communities. I highly recommend this program!"

"I thought Catalyst was an excellent opportunity to network with fellow leaders on campus, but it also really taught me about what kind of leader I am. I learned about offering my unique traits and being able to accept the traits of others in any setting. My favorite part was when we split up into groups and discussed different quotes, and I happened to find my most FAVORITE quote ever now: 'Life's ups and downs provide windows of opportunity to determine your values and goals. Think of using all obstacles as stepping stones to build the life you want.' It seemed to describe my life perfectly and it really inspired me to move through this year much smoother. I recommend Catalyst for anyone who is confused or curious about the type of leader they can be and for anyone simply wants to make a whole new group of friends!"

"Catalyst was a great experience that really helped me delve into myself and discover my leadership potential. It helped me realize how to work better with others, and how to work better with myself."

Additional Programs : Catalyst : FAQ
Here's a smattering of the questions folks frequently ask us about our one-day CatalystTM program. If your questions aren't answered here, please contact us at email@example.com or 800.988.LEAD (5323). We'd really love to hear from you.
- How many participants can the Catalyst program accommodate?
- What is included in the fee paid to LeaderShape?
- What do I need to know about selecting a space for Catalyst?
- Who facilitates the program?
- What other colleges and universities have held/hosted Catalyst?
The ideal number is 60 participants; however, as few as 25 or as many as 180 have participated in the program at one time. If the number of participants is significantly over 60 the fee will be adjusted to cover additional materials. If the number is greater than 90, we suggest running two sessions concurrently.
The $4,950 campus-based fee covers facilitator travel costs, program workbooks and a personal assessment instrument for up to 60 participants, and materials for all activities.
In addition to space (see the following question), we rely on you to bring a flipchart tablet and easel, flipchart markes (1/participant), and nametags (in plastic badge holders) for each participant.
Catalyst has been hosted in a variety of spaces. You'll need a room with moveable chairs that's large enough for 120% of the number of participants (to have enough space for large group and small group activities). A computer (with audio capability for video clips), projector, and screen, as well as space for a 6' or 8' table are also important. (If the room is very large, a mic might also be needed.)
Included in the fee for Catalyst, we send one of our highly skilled facilitators. We believe they're really great at what they do — make genuine connections to create a supportive and challenging learning environment. Catalyst facilitators all have advanced degrees and 10-15 years experience working with groups in educational settings.
Catalyst has been held on large and small campuses, private and public, and as a part of larger events or as a stand-alone experience.
